In 2017 I found myself doing something I never expected: teaching an adult author education workshop. Since that time, my role as an author-educator has dramatically expanded. Here’s what’s happened at-a-glance.

  • 2017: LCW writing conference
  • 2018: Write His Answer Greater Philadelphia Conference
  • 2019:

Teaching is nothing new to me; I’ve been an educator in the public school system since 2010. But now I’m combining my experience as an educator with my passion for writing. Who knows what can happen?

I’m inviting all current and potential authors to join an exclusive professional writing community. Click here to join my author-only email list.

If you’ve written anything—or think you might one day write anything—you want to be on this list.

Here’s why:

  • Unlock access to free writing resources (power verb lists and more)
  • Attend invite-only author education webinars
  • Receive effective “ambush marketing” strategies for authors
  • One email a month 🙂

Sign up and share the message with friends and others in your writing groups. Together, Each Achieves More.

Getting ready for two conferences at the same time! I’m teaching on “How to Write 3D Characters” and “How to Turn Your Writing Into a Business. Registered yet?🙂

As much as I love advance planning and preparation, I’m one of those people that functions best when close to deadlines. Somehow the adrenaline (or is it the caffeine??) seems to flow a little better through my veins when the zero hour gets closer. Are you the same way?

Right now I’m prepping for my upcoming Spring/Summer/Fall 2019 book tours, presentations and conferences. Fresh on the market is my first “How to” book, Write History. It syncs with some of the material I’ll present to authors in Lancaster, Pa in April and to other writing professionals in Colorado this May.

But underneath the adrenaline and caffeine I feel another force—the undeniable urge to write. I’ve a slew of books waiting to be written (take a sneak peak here) and, sooner or later, that call must be answered!

I’d love to write more but… the clock is ticking. 🙂

Stay connected,

JP Robinson

P.S. Congrats to Kayla for winning the monthly “Follower giveaway”. Kayla won a free copy of Bride Tree (audio book). Are you part of JP Exclusive’s? If not, sign up here today!

I’m excited to join the LCW faculty on 4/6 at Lancaster Bible College where I’ll lead two workshops: Mind Your Business and Create 3D Characters.

“Mind Your Business” focuses on helping authors transform passive writing into a profitable writing system while “Create 3D Characters” offers 5 key strategies to writing characters that “walk” off the page.

Writing styles are always shifting, and authors who are at the top of their game need to adapt to keep up with reader needs.

Join me at Lancaster Bible College where copies of my novels and my first “How To” book will be available for sale and signature.

2018 was a phenomenal year for me and 2019 is going to be even better!

Here’s the plan:

First, I’m going to release In the Midst of the Flames, the second installment of the riveting Northshire Heritage trilogy. Look for it in November.

Second, my wife and I are working on our first joint self-help book for married couples. It’s called, Love Your Marriage. Madly.

We’ve been doing marriage counseling and seminars for Christian couples for years so we finally figured out that it made sense to write a book! That’ll be available around July of this year.

Third, I’m booked throughout the year with speaking engagements, author workshops and book signings. I’ll post an announcement on my Facebook page so, if you’re not a follower, sign up today!

Have a blessed day,

JP Robinson

Read In the Shadow of Your Wings.

Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Isaiah 43:19

First off, thanks to all my followers and readers who made 2018 such a spectacular year. This year I released two full-length novels, Bride Tree and In the Shadow of Your Wings both of which are epic representations of God’s amazing love.

I also spoke at two Christian writer conferences and helped other authors develop their professional craft. But 2019 will be even better. I’m looking to do more for Christ in whatever way I can… while I can.

As we face an uncertain sociopolitical future, I encourage all to develop or deepen your walk with Christ as His return is imminent. If you’d like me to join you in prayer regarding any circumstance, don’t hesitate to reach out via my contact form.

Happy New Year and May God bless you.
