Writer Wednesday: How to use the Amazon Kindle feature to showcase a product

It’s been a long time since I posted a “how to” tip for writers, and I’m glad to be back! If you’re like me and host with #Wordpress, you’re probably aware that there’s a ton of options that make it versatile. This post is how to use the Amazon Kindle feature to showcase a product.

There’s a neat block called “Amazon Kindle” that let’s you insert a product directly onto a page or blog post. Website users can preview, share, and purchase without leaving your site but all sales are still managed by Amazon.

Here’s a quick video tutorial if you’re interested in learning more. It’s also shown below. Don’t feel like watching? Here are the steps.

  1. Click the cross to insert a block
  2. Select/Search for the Amazon Kindle Block
  3. Copy and paste the URL of the product you want displayed. Note that this doesn’t work well with an author showcase page or a page with multiple items (such as a book series). One item works best.

And that’s How to use the Amazon Kindle feature to showcase a product!
