My story is in Focus on the Family’s Clubhouse!

Author JP Robinson holds an issue of Clubhouse Magazine

It’s truly a blessing to see my historical fiction story The Inventor’s Secret published by Focus on the Family in their Clubhouse Magazine! This story really touched me as it centers around the life of Garrett Morgan, a Black inventor who truly transformed America—he invented the traffic light, folks!—but was often marginalized because of his race.

But this story was especially meaningful because it’s the first time I’ve taken a devotional slant to historical fiction. And, seeing it in Clubhouse makes the work behind the story worth every minute.

I hope it’s as much a blessing to you and your kids to read it as it was for me to write it. 🙂

Have a great weekend folks!
