Words to live by: how to deal with fear

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

Psalms 56:3-4

It’s comforting to know that even David, a mighty man whose zeal for God made him a “man after God’s own heart” struggled with fear.

But David showed us that, while fear is a normal part of human existence, we can overcome it by choosing to trust the power of Christ.

To a certain extent, faith is a choice. Don’t let the negativity of our world overwhelm you.

Choose to trust. Choose to live.
