Psalm 103:11-12

For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

I can’t get over the power of these words, no matter how many times I read them. The depth of God’s love, the power of His mercy are simply incalculable.

But what means the most to me is that God wants us to recognize that we simply can’t understand how great His love is.

Measuring how high heaven is from earth? It just goes on and on.

How far east is from west? You’ll start over in the east without realizing you’re there again.

And He commands us to show that same depth of mercy and forgiveness to those who’ve wronged us.

God thinks big… doesn’t He?
