Meet Eleanor

She was married for two years before the war changed everything. Poor but happy, Eleanor and her husband Will manage to get by in London’s East End, along with their precious daughter, Abby.
When Will answers the call to war, Eleanor’s life takes a shocking turn. Broken by grief, she joins the war effort as a volunteer nurse (a VAD). But Will’s disappearance leaves a host of unanswered questions—questions that can only be answered at the war’s front lines.
See Eleanor in action when you read the Northshire Heritage series.
