Two years ago, my wife and I had a random encounter that ended up being a story that will be told in our family for generations.
I wrote a devotional out of this experience and submitted it to a leading Christian magazine. At first there was no traction. After a year I’d forgotten about this story and left it to collect dust in a digital bin.
But there’s a time and season for all things. A few months ago, I again submitted this story. And this time, it came to life.
